The brightly hued building acts as a gateway to painter Frederic Church’s historic Hudson Valley home and his masterwork of 19th century landscape design.

Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the V&A East Storehouse is a publicly accessible museum storage facility set within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

The 45,000-square-foot station house includes a dedicated community room—a first for the NYPD—with a separate entrance on the ground level.

Finalists in the international design competition include Kengo Kuma & Associates, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Selldorf Architects, Studio Gang, Weiss/Manfredi, and WHY.
