Richard Meier’s lighting venture might bear his name, but the Pritzker Prize-winning architect insists that he didn’t mastermind its first line of fixtures, which debuted Wednesday at the Ralph Pucci showroom in New York.
The Swiss architect Peter Zumthor may have just spilled the beans about a radical overhaul of his scheme for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
At a press briefing in New York, organizers detailed exhibition programming and unveiled the list of more than 100 participating international architecture firms.
“Crumbling infrastructure will be replaced with new roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, and railways gleaming across our beautiful land,” the president said in his address last Tuesday.
