The South African city’s annual design festival fosters cross-pollination of ideas in industrial design, fine art, and architecture.

The new interactive exhibit by British artist Esmeralda “Es” Devlin is housed in a concrete disk-shaped volume outside of the Thomas Heatherwick–designed museum in Cape Town.

The museum, housed within a historic grain silo, is dedicated to contemporary African art.
