For its fifth incarnation, the Urbanism\Architecture Bi-City Biennale Shenzhen has assembled two curatorial teams--one headed by Ole Bouman and the other by Li Xiangning and Jeffrey Johnson. Bouman, who had been the director of the Netherlands Architecture Institute until January 2013, will be the creative director of the Biennale and will collaborate with Stylepark, an online platform for architecture and design. Li, who is a professor at Tongji University's College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and Johnson, who is the director of Columbia University's China Lab, will serve as academic directors of the Biennale. As it has since 2007, Shenzhen is holding the Biennale in conjunction with Hong Kong, which sits just across the Chinese border in the Pearl River Delta. The Biennale, which will take place at the end of 2013, will have as its theme "Urban Border." For more information, go to the Biennale website, http://www.szhkbiennale.org/
