According to published reports, Frank Gehry and developer Forest City Ratner have reached a "mutual agreement" to part ways on Atlantic Yards, a still-massive, but-significantly-scaled-back project which has yet to break ground in Brooklyn.

Forest City Ratner said the architecture firm of Ellerbe Becket has been brought on board to design the arena at Atlantic Yards, which is intended to serve as the new home for the Nets NBA franchise.
