Funded at the behest of a national mandate, the Talaricheruvu Rural School was transformed through a collaborative vision of its corporate sponsor and the Bengalaru-based Collective Project.
Created in collaboration with the artist and her studio, this exhibition in New York, which opened on November 18th, is both personal journey and showcase of the prolific designer’s work.
Closed for 15-years due to disrepair and water damage, this integral component of the architect’s Connecticut compound will reopen for the landmark property’s 75th anniversary in April 2024.
Named in homage to the long-demolished McKim, Mead & White hotel that formerly occupied the 5th Avenue site, the new amenities suite includes a cafe, workspaces, conference rooms, and fitness facility.
