The marine habitat–bolstering green infrastructure project off Staten Island’s south shore is the fifth annual recipient of the international award honoring architectural projects “in service of both people and the planet.”
Recipients in the disciplines of architecture and landscape architecture include César A. Lopez, Ajay Manthripragada, Miranda E. Mote, and Laura Stimson.
Firms recognized this year for superlatively sustainable projects across a range of typologies include SmithGroup, Mithun, Lake|Flato, and Behnisch Architekten.
