The 53^rd Pritzker Laureate received his medal at a ceremony at the Art Institute of Chicago on Saturday.

This year, the Chicago-based organization has named a total of 50 fellows, including Ifeoma Ebo and the New York–based practice AD–WO.

Curated by Floating Museum, ‘This is a Rehearsal’ spans four anchor sites, including the biennial’s longtime home at the Chicago Cultural Center, and a number of partner sites spread across the city. 

On view through October 15, the event partners local design studios with community organizations to conceive and build pop-up shelters during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.
