Charles Hasbrouck, AIA, is an associate director at Skidmore Owings & Merrill’s Chicago office. With over 30 years of experience as an architect and project manager, Hasbrouck acts as the firm’s liaison with clients and consultants, works with project teams on a day to day basis, and ensures that the firm’s services are accomplished in a professional and timely manner. He takes a collaborative approach to architecture and is known for his ability to understand and address different agendas, while delivering projects that maintain a high standard of design excellence.

The Cliff Dwellers is a private club and functions as a non-profit organization for men and women either professionally engaged in, or who support, the fine arts and the performing arts. Notable members have included Louis Sullivan and many other illustrious Chicago architects.

The Auditorium Building, an Adler and Sullivan masterpiece, was a forerunner of large-scale mixed-use projects, originally combining the auditorium, offices, and a hotel. The Lieber Meister had his office at the top of the tower when a young Frank Lloyd Wright ran the drafting room.
