Entries are now being accepted for the 12th annual BusinessWeek/Architectural Record “Good Design Is Good Business” Awards. The program honors projects that exemplify innovative design while helping clients achieve strategic business goals.
The original deadline was April 15, 2009; however, due to a high volume of queries, the application deadline has been extended to May 15.
The winners will be considered for publication in Architectural Record and BusinessWeek, along with McGraw-Hill’s new magazine, HQ: Good Design is Good Business. These titles are read by millions of business and design professionals around the globe.
While the program focuses on projects within the business community, projects for institutions, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations will be considered. Prior winners range from corporate headquarters to performing arts centers to mixed-use developments. (View the 2008 winners).
Projects completed between April 2005 and April 2009 are eligible for this year’s program. Clients or architects can submit a project for consideration. A jury composed of editors will select the winners.
The cost is US $125 for the first entry. Additional entries are $50 each, a reduced rate due to the economic climate.
