February 2017 Product Briefs: New LED Lighting Fixtures
Flexible in use and abilities, LED fixtures and drivers conquer tight plenums, frozen environments, and last-minute tech upgrades.

Zaphir
The 40 high-power LEDs in these architectural lighting fixtures can be marshaled into two elliptical beam patterns and five rotationally symmetric distributions. Two of the surface-mount models (including the RGBW one, above) feature onboard touchscreen controls; all have a continuous dimming range of 1 to 100 percent. Custom options include louvers and glare shields, with a polar edition of the fixture also available for snowy and icy locales.

Circus
This lighted magnifier’s dimmable 10-watt LED module provides accurate visual rendering thanks to a 90 CRI and 4000K color temperature. Offered with a 3.5 or 5-diopter white crown optical-quality glass lens, the die-cast aluminum fixture can be positioned horizontally, vertically, or laterally. A secondary 4-, 6-, or 10-diopter STAYS lens may be added.

WorkHorse LED XP Series
Built for use outdoors and in harsh environments, Fulham’s IP65-rated line of LED drivers supports outputs up to 5000mA. Five power configurations are available, as are versions with integrated wireless controls—a first for the category—that run Tvilight’s CityManager control software. Programming options for all models include custom dimming curves and NTC thermal feedback.

CWM
Even after mounting this modular luminaire, designers can swap out or upgrade its electrical components thanks to the interchangeable lenses and end caps. The fixture’s LEDs deliver an 84 CRI and up to 140 lumens per watt, with a projected life over 86,000 hours. The ADA-compliant CWM comes in flush and semi-recessed configurations (the latter shown) and with optional 3form lens designs.

Halo
Ideal for tight spots, Eaton’s family of surface-mounted LED downlights can be installed directly into drywall, eliminating the need for recessed housings or junction boxes. The flush fixtures, which are available in round and square models, offer a 90 CRI and up to 815 lumens of light. Wet-listed, they come in five color temperatures and are dimmable down to 5 percent.
