June 2016 Product Briefs: Hospitality
The latest crop of contract textiles, lighting, and furnishings welcomes you with color and texture.

Squiggle Stripe
This railroaded upholstery fabric with a large-scale repeat suits expansive surfaces including banquettes and benches. The cotton-mix blend is NSF 336–compliant, contains 44% recycled content, and has an abrasion tolerance of 80,000 double rubs. It is available in six colorways.

Power Pedestal
This NEMA 3R–rated outdoor charging station comes with up to three gangs to power multiple devices, with prewired options including weather-resistant GFCI and four-port USB outlets. An optional kit allows the 34"-high pedestal unit to accommodate A/V and communications devices. Up to two shelves and a lockable door also may be added.

Addison 5
This 58"-long freestanding tub not only fits into a standard 60" space but also has a smaller exterior footprint than cast iron and acrylic options. Made of Engineered Solid Stone, a proprietary mixture of ground minerals and high-performance resins, the Addison 5 has a flat tub rim and integrated slotted overflow requiring only one drain installation. It can be ordered as a soaking tub or custom fitted with a therapeutic air bath.

Plex Lounge Seating
A rectangular seat serves as the foundation of this modular system, which includes club and armless chairs, sofa elements, an ottoman, and two tables. The seating, which features molded foam backs with steel inserts, may be specified in any Herman Miller upholstery. A choice of legs, casters, and swivel bases provides further customization options.

Wild Thing
Riffing off the Indochine-style wallpapers popular in the 1940s, this nonrepeating wall mural by interior designer Ghislaine Viñas features photorealistic images of tropical plants digitally printed with Greenguard-certified latex inks. Wild Thing is offered in four standard colorways, as well as in custom hues and Type II commercial options. All versions are Class A fire-rated and PVC-free.

Traces
Sedimentary rock formations inspired the 10 abstract styles and 12 earthy colorways offered by this line of commercial broadloom carpet. Most options are available in the company’s proprietary Definity, precision dye injected (PDI), and computer yarn placement (CYP) constructions. All are 100% recyclable and free of Red List materials.

Plaid
With a 36" repeat, this bold and busy woven-vinyl flooring and wall textile uses a rotation of 14 hues in solid and bicolor yarns; the resulting pattern does not require that the seams be aligned. Plaid comes in three colorways and formats, including 6'-wide rolls, 18"-square tiles, and 6"x 36" planks. LEED-compliant, all versions feature Microban antimicrobial protection and are Green Label Plus–certified.

Bolon By You
This woven vinyl flooring line allows architects and designers to create their own product, choosing from among six patterns, four warp colors, and 12 weft colors. Suited for dry and heavy commercial use areas, Bolon By You is recyclable and phthalate-free; it may be utilized with underfloor heating and is extremely lightfast. Shown is the Grid pattern with gray warp and lavender gloss weft.

Julius
The first utilization of a new manufacturing process, this chair and sofa feature upholstery sewn directly onto solid ash or oak frames, minimizing the adhesives needed while maximizing the furniture’s tailored appearance. The collection, which includes a matching ottoman, is available with Unika Vaev fabric or Elmosoft leather.

Laurent
With 10 standard configurations featuring one to five 5½" handblown globes, Laurent aims to serve most ambient lighting needs. The dimmable pendant has a G9 socket, with halogen and LED versions available; each fixture also features an adjustable suspension system of wires and anchors that allows its final form and height to vary.
