Angelica T. Baccon is an associate principal with considerable expertise in leading complex New York City projects in addition to workplace design. Her work at New York’s South Street Seaport, including Pier 17 and the East River Park, has prepared her as well to manage fast paced and complex design and delivery challenges in New York City with multi-layered stakeholder groups. She also leads SHoP’s team for the new Uber Headquarters, as well as several large-scale confidential projects for major global tech enterprises. Through her work at SHoP, Angelica has also developed a focus on successfully leveraging mixed programs to promote spatial vitality—whether for the project’s internal community or the public realm. She holds a Bachelor in Architecture degree from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico, and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University, where she has also served as a professor.
