The future of architecture and the public realm will be the topic for discussion in New York on October 19 as some 300 architects and designers gather in the historic Masonic Hall for Architectural Record’s annual daylong Innovation Conference.

On June 7, 2017, architects and others gathered at San Francisco’s Mission Bay Conference Center for Architectural Record’s 19th Innovation Conference, the fourth held on the West Coast.

“The power of the handmade shouldn’t be taken for granted,” said Michael Murphy, co-founder of MASS Design Group, a practice known for its humanitarian projects.

Architectural Record’s Innovation Conference will take place next Thursday, November 3, at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York City.
